Background

According to the evaluation of the previous work period made by the teachers of Ogre State Gymnasium, the necessary changes in school improvement were brought up to date: - a meaningful and united approach to the teaching-learning process, - deliberately targeted student learning, - teacher professional development, - unified approach to assessment of the school performance, - introduction of a new teaching standard (School 2030). One of the GOALS of the school's further development was ensuring the implementation of high-quality educational content based on the competence approach. Many educators have already participated in professional development courses in Latvia, for example "Competence approach in teaching content". But there was a need to recognize the experience of European teachers in promoting cooperation among colleagues, integrating subjects and planning the curriculum. Participation in Erasmus + strategic partnerships has shown that teaching work in Europe is organized differently and has different results. Therefore, in order to qualitatively implement the introduction of the new curriculum in the school, it was necessary to identify the experience of as many organizations and teachers as possible, new methods.
