In accordance with the development plan of Talsi Secondary School No. 2, in the framework of the Project certain activities were realized in areas „Educational content” and „Teaching and Studying”. The specific goals for Project were: 1) promote the improvement of teacher’s knowledge, skills and competences, involving into the process of further education school leader team, representatives of educational subject areas and support stuff; 2) promote elaboration of innovative teaching methods and techniques, based on the transfer of good experience and practice; 3) form positive and motivating teaching and working environment; 4) improve the quality of student’s performance evaluation system; 5) promote the introduction of the European dimension and intercultural competences into school education process.
The implementation of the development plan of Talsi Secondary School No. 2 for time 2019. – 2023. intends to form competences based educational environment and promote development of personality to achieve the goals determined in Standards of Ministry of Education and Science. The aim of the Project „The competencies in 21st century learning and the ways to evaluate the students” was to promote the professional development of pedagogues and experience of pedagogues in the implementation of the competences based education, to improve the quality of the school educational process and promote the involvement of pedagogues in the school’s work planning.
