The project aims at providing the applicant organization with the staff and organizational capacities to deliver on this crucial purposes through innovative methodologies capable of enhancing its outreach to the target audience as well as the number and quality of its activities from a local and European perspective. The project objectives are the following: - Fostering the development of the capacities and operational variety of its staff of experienced educators, with a focus on Non-Formal Education also outdoor education. - Establishing regular, long-term partnerships for the exchange of knowledge and good practices as well as the presentation of joint initiatives, thus extending the scope and outreach of RK's initiatives. - Acquisition of competencies of project design and management in the field of specific interest of the organization within the Erasmus+ program, related to the educational support to educational integration and, thereby to the social inclusion and employability of young Adults suffering from educational difficulties.
The employment rate for ages 25 – 34 age is 83,3% and for ages 15 – 24 it is 28,2%. The data of the state Employment Agency of Latvia for 2019 (September) shows that the age between 15 – 29 unemployment rate is 16,2% and only 6% is for youth aged 15 – 24. Regarding to Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia data (15.08.2019) in the second quarter of 2019 youth aged (18 – 24), only 33,2% of youth were economically active and 66,8% were not economically active and were studying or not looking for a job. And also the conclusion is that number of economically not active young people is increasing in those who are not working after the finish of the study. This is a gap between university and real-life work skills that universities are not offering where is space for non-formal education and outdoor education. This is a reason why our NGO want to develop their volunteer competencies in non-formal and outdoor education to provide more qualitative training for young adults, so that their transfer from education to work life happens more smoothly.
