The aim of this project, "Wings", which we wanted to achieve by carrying out mobility activities within and after the project further training of colleagues and other interested parties, was to improve the methodology in our chosen fields. Within the project, we chose those areas where we needed the additional training that courses abroad can provide - the use of cultural heritage and learning outside the traditional classroom, and green way of thinking. We want to complement our curricula with more unusual, innovative This is also the area of languages, where we have learned how to link language learning with other knowledge, specifically in the field of adult education. Calligraphy teachers were keen to gain experience and share knowledge with and from colleagues in Poland, as we can enrich each other's both professionally and cross-culturally. In the field of outdoor and cultural education, we had chosen a course to be able to create unusual, innovative offers for our students, for example by adding newly acquired skills in urban lessons.
Culture and Education Studio Talent City from Latvia has already participated and continues to be actively involved in various international projects, sharing its experience at European level. Participation in training courses at European level is part of the organisation's priority. It is included in the European Development Plan of the association. We have been participating in the Erasmus Plus programme since 2014. Almost every year some of our trainers visit professional development courses. Each mobility is a visible contribution to the development of adult education, not only for our organisation, but also for the benefit of for Latvia in the field of education and culture in general. In the project "Wings" (Spārni ) we wanted to give our trainers the opportunity to learn new, creative methods by attending courses in Europe, so that when they return they can pass on their knowledge to their students and share it with educators across Latvia.
