The goals set by this project, which are in line with the goals set by the Internationalization Strategy of PIKC "RDMV", are to promote the social, cultural, and foreign language competencies of the participants, to strengthen the employment of learners in order to facilitate their entry into the labor market, to improve the knowledge of the participants in the industry of their field and to gain international experience in real work situations. Mobility participants with a professional profile would gain new skills and a broader understanding of practice, company industry policy, education system, and field of work in the country of the partner organization. Internship experience would provide insight into the labor market and labor market needs, which would facilitate entry into the labor market. The acquired experience will be reflected in the practical works of the learners, in which the impact of the knowledge and skills acquired in the project will be noticeable, manifested as the application of new materials or technological solutions, in the development of new, different design concepts. Likewise, the international aspect, getting to know new cultures on a European scale and recognizing regional art and design concepts would be of great importance.
Vocational Education and Competence Center “Riga School of Design and Art” aims to train creative and high-qualified professionals, demanded and competitive in the international labor market. This project enabled the implementation of product design programs that will improve the skills and competencies of the participants.
