Objectives

The most important thing we wanted to achieve by implementing this project, was to promote understanding among youngsters how important is to change bad habits to good habits in their daily life and everyday activities to so their behaviour would become more sustainable in a creative way using method of upcycling. And, afterwards, when participants have improved their habits, they will be spreading the idea of sustainable habits further among their peers thus promoting sustainable behaviour further. This is why the aim of the project was to minimize wastage at personal level by encouraging youngsters to turn their unwanted items into useful and valuable goods, thus promoting their creativity and sustainable mindset. The objectives of the project were: 1 Create a friendly, inspirational, creative space for sharing and learning; 2 Setting the ground for the topic of the project and introducing the importance of waste management and presenting the opportunities for self-employment; 3 Collecting the working materials through cleanup action at the beach; 4 Introducing the participants to the local city and promoting our activities; 5 Teach participants about the differences between recycling and upcycling; 6 Opening the minds and starting the creative processes for developing the outcomes; 7 Sharing the outcomes and promoting the project and the Erasmus+ opportunities to the youngsters and the local community; 8 Promote active participation, volunteering and raising awareness of opportunities for youth. 9 Promoting the ERASMUS+ Programme among a larger number of young people from the local communities.
