The Youth Exchange is a continuation of the “Bullying? We Object!” project in Jūrmala in January 2020. The main goal of this Youth Exchange was to educate youngsters about the impact and long-lasting consequences of bullying. Together with our participants, we want to find out the cause of the behavior amongst people and to help to prevent it in the path of their education and social lives in general. Through working in an international group, we want to learn to be brave and stand against bullying in the future, to teach youngsters compassion and understanding of each other, and to teach them the skill of including everyone in the group. The main objectives of our project are such as the following: - To educate young people about cyberbullying and other types of bullying (Physical bullying, Verbal bullying, Social bullying, and the benefits of non-formal learning and its methods; - Encouraging intercultural dialogue and active citizenship through group activities; - Let young people organize group work, take risks and responsibilities among themselves; - Raise young people's awareness of the impact of human actions in society; - To encourage young people to take initiative and be active in their societies; - To promote social inclusion and acceptance among youngsters from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
