By the implementation of our project we wanted to: -reduce the number of cases of conflicts, bullying and cyber-bullying in our school; -reduce the number of cases of lawbreakers among minors; -increase the number of competent teachers to recognize, prevent and most importantly deal with conflicts, bullying, and cyber-bullying among students; -increase the number of parents with skills to understand various forms of bullying and deepen their knowledge about impact, risk factors and long-term effects on victims and bullies; -increase the number of students with skills to enhance and foster emotional and social intelligence inside themselves and towards others; -increase the number of educational curricula in our school about bullying, conflicts and cyber-bullying about the ways on how to stop and prevent them.
Our bilingual school has everyday problems with bullying and conflicts among students based on national, religious, age, gender intolerance. According to our School Annual Reports there is a huge increase in the number of cases of conflict, bullying and cyber-bullying among students. The key needs and goals of our school were to visit international courses about bullying, cyber-bullying and conflict management and equip our teachers, school managers, pupils and their parents with knowledge and competence to effectively prevent all forms of violence. Also we needed help in creating a school policy plan and long term strategies to prevent, reduce and stop conflicts and bullying. As a result of that our first benefit will be the reduced number of conflicts in the school, and second and long-term benefit will be the reduced number of law -breakers among the minors in our town, country and wider society.
