Objectives

Qualified education is the right of every child but with the last results from international organization with the PISA examinations we have seen that in North Macedonia there is a lot of work to be done especially in the integration of digital tools in teaching and learning. As for the practices in our country, there are important deficiencies in access to quality education that include ICT. Although most of the legal administrative arrangements are at the same level as developed countries, there are important deficiencies in practice. Our consortium wanted to achieve 4 main objectives with its cooperation its activities: 1. Build an inclusive and sustainable network where teachers and schools can support each other and exchange experiences on the use of digital technologies for teaching and learning; 2. Support the mainstreaming of ICT-based teaching practices through collaboration and peer-to-peer learning. 3. Widen and deepen the use of innovative didactic methodologies, to support the process of modernization and internationalization of learning. 4. Foster the contacts with training institutions and participants, to support the advancement of mobility actions and enhance teachers and pupils’ cultural exchanges.

Background

Digital technologies are an inseparable part of today's learning process because these generates are grown up with technology and smart things so the traditional methods will not have the right effect for pupils to remember and use the knowledge. In the questionnaires which we applied to the teachers working with students we have obtain results that are claiming that our staff needed a ICT training. The consortium is set up with common needs and objectives for making our schools European schools. The final decision that we applied to this project along with the other 2 schools is that we are schools of different profiles, one being a gymnasium “7 Marsi” and the leader of this consortium, the VET school “Mosha Pijade” and the third high school of economics “8 Shtatori” show the diversity of this consortium apart from teaching exchange experiences and ideas from different spheres of knowledge. One of the missions of our consortium is to provide original contributions to the development of teachers in using ICT and digital tools. With the experience gained within the scope of the project, we helped teachers to develop the basic aspect of ICT they know from before, also prepared them to work with new modern ICT and digital tools.
