Background

Our school, through the European Development Plan, aims to respond to the educational requirements and needs of new generations who require active participation in extracurricular life, through practical learning and project learning. Modern education is strongly connected with quality practical teaching which, apart from professional skills of the students, will also contribute to the improvement of their personal development as well as their acquaintance with European values. This kind of project contributes to raising the ability of the students to cope in an international environment and the growth of their self-confidence. By applying for a student mobility project, we wanted to provide students with an international experience with all the qualities that can be gained in top hotel companies in a developed tourist destination such as Cyprus. They will become competitive on the labor market all over the world, which is certainly the main goal of every vocational school. On the other hand, by preparing and implementing such a project, the employees acquire skills and knowledge for the implementation of projects in the field of education, which will improve the quality of teaching in our school.
