General objective: Improving of the system of non-formal education in VET area in N. Macedonia through Improving of VET competences of staff in direction of empowering their skills and competences, developing new curricula and new program which are not available in our region. The objectives of the project have come out of our analysis of the needs and priorities: 1. Implementation of the dual education system 2. Improvement of the programs and curricula we use with the current trends in Europe 3. Improvement of the skills and competences of our staff/trainers in hairdressers and cosmetics specialist 4. Teaching through non formal methods in a professional environment 5. Increasing the chances for employment of our students for the profile for hairdressers and cosmetics specialist through learning new advanced and modern skills 6. Acquiring validated and recognized certificates for these occupations 7. Creating opportunities for possible future partnerships with relevant organizations
The project was prepared within the framework of the long term strategic targets for Academy CES: -Network with other EU institutions, active in the field -Improve quality of VET training courses, and inline with the current trends in Europe (introduce dual education system) -Improve learning and employment opportunities -Developе conditions for easier access to the educational services -Develop modern educational and training program -Develop new advanced training educational curricula -Enablе equal access for all learners to internships and apprenticeships -Raisе awareness for the need of education as a key for easier access to the labor market -Preparе tailored educational programmes; -Internationalization of organization; -Upgradе educational offer. With this application we aimed to achieve some of these identified needs. Our objective was to improve competences of our staff/trainers involved in delivery of trainings for personal services (cosmeticians and hairdressers) to expand their competences, and offer to them possibility to work and practice in international environment, where they will apply more advanced methods and technologies in practice.
