Background

SOZSU “Gjorce Petrov” initiated the development of this project which derived from the International strategy. Priority objective of the Strategy for internationalization of VET is to define appropriate mobilities and training programs in order to: - support learners in the acquisition of learning outcomes (knowledge, skills and competences) and their employability in the labour market - support the professional development of those who work in education - raise participants' awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries. Training abroad is very important for young people because it not only builds professional expertise, but it also teaches them that the world is much larger than their own familiar environment. SOZSU “Gjorce Petrov” owns forests and fields where different crops are cultivated. Students complete part of the practical lessons in the field of agriculture and forestry on the school farm and winery as well as in the school forest. But school has no animal farm where practical lessons for animal husbandry could be implemented. Therefore 2 weeks training in Croatia was proposed for 35 students and 5 teachers with the agricultural background.
