The main objective of this project was to improve our students` skills and competences and make them better prepared for the real world and the work they might have in future, as well as improve teachers skills in order to improve their way of delivering classes and by doing so to improve our school. During the school year the students at our school have practical placements in different companies according to their area of study. But, the experience they received at traineeships in European countries could not be compared to the experience they get here in Macedonia. That`s why we wanted our students to get European experience by having traineeships in companies in EU countries. That way they have acquired much more knowledge, valuable practical skills and also references which will support them later on in their labor market integration. With this project 20 students from our school had two weeks traineeships. Also, 6 teachers attended one week staff trainings in Spain. The aim of the project was to give our students and teachers a chance to have an European training experience and gain new skills and competences that they could not have a chance to acquire in Macedonia.
According to our internationalization strategy one of our aims is to create bigger opportunities for international traineeships for our students and international trainings for our teachers. We would like to send our students to world best companies and by doing so to offer them international experience that will support them in building a future in an increasingly interdependent world. Many of the European countries have greatly benefited from international cooperation and globalization, so we believe that globalization can be very beneficial for our country, our school, our teachers and our students. That`s the reason why we have applied for this project with which our school has been involved in international activities that have improved the quality of our managers, teachers, trainers and students. As a VET school we want to improve our students` skills and make them better prepared for the real world and the work they might have in future. By sending our students on European mobility we believe that we can help them gain some international competences and skills. We also want to improve our teachers` skills and by doing so to improve our school and internationalise it.
