The objectives were directed primarily towards the participants, as individuals and as a group, then towards the individual organizations, and later towards our communities. Objectives towards the individual participants •To understand the role of Environmental Ecology such as micro-climate, event sustainability, everyday eco-friendly living • The develop a better awareness of the need for immediate action on different areas that impact the ecology •To increase the capacity of young people`s skills and proficiency by using non-formal education •To promote healthy food and practice healthy living •To develop language skills of participants •To provide a multi-cultural platform where participants coming from different countries, rural and city areas, can meet and discover the beauty of diversity and of different experiences/ways of life • To empower the youth to develop concrete projects with ecological action in their own countries, on their return. • To enable each participant to develop a more positive relationship with nature. • To empower participants to take initiatives and actions • To help participants gain professional experiences through non-formal and informal learning. • To promote personal growth and self-esteem. • To build self-esteem and self-confidence in the participants. • To enable the participants to expose their hidden talents and abilities. Objectives towards the individual partner organizations • To unite people from diverse cultures and collaborate together towards a common goal. • To promote teamwork and learn new skills. • To help youths to develop leadership and communication skills. • To motivate young people with fewer opportunities in participating • To create initiatives in our respective countries to promote positive sustainable steps towards a healthier environment through the young people within the International Focolare Movement Objectives towards communities • To make participants aware of the need to change and strengthen our commitment to build a more sustainable world; • To empower the participants with concrete knowledge on how to ensure a more ecological society • To promote the sharing of initiatives already being developed in their own countries • To promote the positive impact on volunteering/hands-on actions on health and well-being of the communities.
