Through the implementation of this project, we aimed to achieve the following: Introduce staff to foreign schools and educators to facilitate their further development. Develop a broader perspective on personalized learning and digital literacy. Support teachers and schools in shaping their vision for personalized learning and digital literacy. Implement future proof personnel policies.
We liked to apply for this project because, within the framework of Lucas Onderwijs (2018-2022)*, we had formulated the following three objectives connected to the main needs and goals in the field of European mobility and collaboration: In the context of the future of education, we aimed to learn from other countries in the areas of personalized learning and digital literacy. Regarding future personnel policy, Lucas Onderwijs has been providing training to its staff for years, including internal training, job shadowing, and overseas training opportunities. Another objective was that by 2022, our students would be able to develop into global citizens, critical members of an international society capable of collaborating with others to find creative solutions to a variety of problems. This means that, with the help of partners, our schools will establish international contacts in the coming years.
