In a staff evaluation, we asked in which areas there is still a need for further professionalisation. Employees indicated that they need training in dealing with differences, differentiation in the classroom and they need creative methods in special needs education to improve social inclusion. This was the reason for us to supplement our European Development Plan in 2020. Our students have very different cultural and / or religious backgrounds. We see this reflected in our regular classes, but also in our refugee class. We also have a growing number of students with social obstacles, with economic obstacles and with special educational needs. We would also like to offer personalised education in order to better meet the needs of the students. We wanted to get better at dealing with differences among students and staff. This mobility project is composed in terms of both institutional and teachers’ needs: the institution’s European Development Plan for promoting the international scope at the world focusing on a changing world, migration and our local issues about the balance between traditions, identity and social inclusion, as well as the participants’ personal and educational development needs.
