Met de implementatie van dit project beoogden wij de volgende doelen: - Het vergroten van het didactisch repertoire van een grote groep docenten (CLIL didactiek) - Het verbeteren van de Engelse taalvaardigheid van een grote groep vakdocenten (voor wie Engels de tweede taal is). - Het versterken van de CLIL didactiek + Engelse taalvaardigheid van docenten LO - Bijvangst is het versterken van de onderlinge verhoudingen (teambuilding) die zeker na de schoolsluitingen (agv covid) zeer welkom was.
We applied for this project in 2019 in order to elaborate on our staff's vision, mission and skills on the fields of CLIL teaching, use of English (classroom English) and further development of growth mindset didactics. Shortly after the start of this project the world was faced with the covid pandemic and online teaching became the new 'normal'. This online reality made the urge for activating didactics vivid and that is the reason that we have highly focussed on CLIL courses above courses in growth mindset and job shadowing in this project. So we have adapted the project's funding to the needs caused by the pandemic (homeschooling). We have created the opportunity for groups of subject teachers to refine their CLIL didactics as well as their fluency in English.
