The students have improved their skills by using the language and universality of fairy tales. A common point of view is formed by identifying the differences and similarities of the fairy tales of the partner countries. Description of the activities: Ice-breaking activities are carried out to enable participants to get to know each other and feel more comfortable. Surveys are used to determine the needs analysis and to find out the impact of the project on the improvement of the students at the end of the project. The students made animated films, prepared slide shows, wrote a fairy tale together, did role plays and dramatisations, designed a "fairy tale forest activity" in a theme park, did voice acting, made puppets for a puppet show and prepared an exhibition. They also learned and experienced a lot in their host families in the different countries and got to know their exchange partners through sports and cultural activities. Due to Covid-19, we postponed the physical activities and first did an eTwinning project where the participating pupils did workshops on writing fairy tales, wrote a common fairy tale, had a "costume party", made posters and presentations. The activities ensured that the participants developed a common European framework, shared their different cultures, improved cooperation and peer work. The activities also developed the imagination and self-confidence of the participants. Methodology: This project uses mixed methods, peer working, role playing, animation, dramatisation, web2 tools, drawing, voice acting, presentation, analysis. Long term benefits: The students involved in the project will benefit in several ways. Firstly, they will realise that they have a lot in common with their peers from other European countries, not only through the fairy tales discussed, but also through working and living together during the activities. Secondly, they will be aware of their own habits and culture and be able to discuss and understand differences when they arise. Thirdly, they had extra practice in using different tools and techniques that they had acquired during the project. It was not only the students who benefited from the project. Of course, it also had a great impact on the host families, teachers and other students in the three different schools.
