We want our students to get out into the world, experience a different culture up close, learn how upper secondary school works in Denmark, gain new professional knowledge, gain greater insight into the European community we are all part of, and through this, increase both their professional and social competence. We also wanted to make the education more attractive, and increase interest in the profession of cook and waiter, and thus in the longer term, increase the number of applicants for the education.
We have for many years had a cooperation with schools and restaurants/hotels in France. Because of Covid we had a long break from exchanging students to France. That is why we asked to change destination to Denmark. Denmark is easier for us to exchange with, when it comes to both language and travelling.
