We wanted to achieve greater knowledge for our staff and students, to broaden their world view, to help increase the status of vocational studies in Oslo, and to increase awareness of what possibilities there are in the European context.
Kuben applied for funding to send students and staff on mobilities as we believe international experiences have several positive effects, and that they are crucial to the schools vision and strategy for educating tomorrow's best vocational workers. The students and staff return to the school with new knowledge, increased confidence and a broader outlook. To give vocational students the possibility of placements also increases the publicity and awareness around vocational studies and hopefully helps increase the status of vocational studies in Oslo.
