The aim of the project (and all international activities for the school) underpins the school's strategy of providing comprehensive training and work experience in an extended learning perspective, where the international dimension is central. In this sense, this project also contributes to giving students relevant and good practical experience in an international working environment. This will also help to strengthen cooperation between the school and various international partners.
Nord-Gudbrandsdal vgs. has for nearly 20 years worked well and dedicatedly with internationalization in order to take part in a larger and more complex work and training arena. This contributes to an expanded learning perspective, but also knowledge and insight for more than just the student. Teachers, regional partners, business and others who have an eye on the training course of students on vocational and vocational training. Over the years, we have invited key people from business, apprentice managers and training offices in the region, precisely to get this anchoring in the student's training course. Therefore, projects like this are important for the school, as a regional development actor and as a competence company in Nord-Gudbrandsdalen. It is also important for business in the region and for recruitment into more vulnerable occupations.
