Projects' activities intended and continue to aim at the successful implementation of bilingual classes and elements of the International Baccalaureate. To do this, it was necessary to linguistically and substantively prepare the staff. Therefore, this main objective of our project was implemented through 4 operational objectives: a. Improving competence in CLIL through, among other things, Integrative Learning, i.e., an interdisciplinary approach to teaching subjects that emphasizes the practical application of acquired knowledge and the ability to creatively process it for new purposes. b. Raising teachers' language proficiency to the level required for bilingual classes; c. Increasing digital competence As well as language skills, the ability to use modern technologies effectively are essential tools for acquiring knowledge and communicating and also enable the use of available foreign-language educational resources ; d. Preparation of staff to conduct periodic evaluation and integration events with young people. The realization of this goal was crucial for the successful implementation of the CAS (Creativity Action Service) component, which is one of the sub-components of the International Baccalaureate.
Implementation contributed, to increase linguistic, methodical, ICT competences of participants, so directly to their work and the level of teaching, to the development of the institution. We planned the implementation of CLIL elements in the school to refine the plan for the establishment of bilingual classes and the implementation of elements of the International Baccalaureate, This project was closely related to these plans, which impose high requirements on the staff to bring the conducted classes to the required standard. The primary goal was to provide staff with support in acquiring the required competencies and practical knowledge to implement the development plans of the entire ZSO. The most important areas of development:practical knowledge of the CLIL methodology, improving the linguistic competence of the staff, improving competence in the use of ICT tools and building student teams and actively supporting their work.An equally important aspect for us was to broaden the horizons of the staff raising their awareness of the cultural diversity of European countries and opening teachers to deepen and expand international cooperation,
