Expanding the educational offer intended for students with advanced German skills thanks to a wider offer Introducing broader and authentic knowledge about European countries, both in subject-related and purely linguistic and cultural education, An opportunity for staff to renew their knowledge and typical methodological skills in order to eliminate the routine in teaching, learn activating methods, supporting talented students and those who have learning difficulties, Acquiring knowledge in the use of technology in teaching: necessity, techniques supporting the learning process, motivating young people, arousing their enthusiasm for learning and developing their ability to learn independently The primary goal, however, was for our graduate to be not only a well-educated person, but also a person prepared to live in a globalized world - he should be open and tolerant, able to work and live in a culturally diverse environment. The project was supposed to enable us to expand his knowledge of contemporary European countries not only from a social or economic perspective, but also in terms of knowledge of contemporary culture, literature and art.
The main reason for applying for the project was to improve the methodological and pedagogical skills of the staff. Our teachers are very active, it is important for them to improve their professional competences, but they feel that their skills need to be refreshed and supplemented with knowledge about current trends in European education. This was even more important for us because we have bilingual classes at school, which are increasingly demanding both in terms of content and methodology. It was also important for us to strengthen the European image of the school, which gained new opportunities to develop international contacts and acquire partners for educational projects.
