Main objectives concerning our projects have been mentioned in the previous question- we wanted to raise language skills of teachers in order to increase motivation of our students to study foreign languages and achieve better results, especially in bilingual classes. Except for that, we tend to develop key digital skills among our teachers in order to quit traditional methods of teaching and focus on the use of modern technology. What is more, we want to change teacher's role- from traditional "lecturer" to more of an advisor and mentor. Additionally, we wanted to establish cooperation on international level with other European schools to realize projects by means of eTwinning platform and more Erasmus+ projects (the ones engaging our students). Another important aspect was development of bilingual teaching to enrich offer of subjects taught bilingually in our high school and increase the number of students taking Matura exam on a bilingual level. Finally, we wanted to learn new methods and organization of process of education in order to improve its effectiveness. As a result we expected better results of our students in external exams and adjustment the process to European standards.
Bilingual teaching and International Baccalaureate Diploma Program are priorities for our school. Moreover, our school is bent on the use of modern classroom technologies in education (we are trendsetters as far as it is concerned in Podkarpackie voivodeship). That is why, development of our teaching staff competences is a key factor in order to achieve satisfactory education results. This is the reason why, while planning development of our school we decided to focus on following aspects: the use of modern technologies in education, constant development of language competences and skills for our teachers, establishing cooperation on international level with other schools, development of bilingual teaching and raising effectiveness and innovation in the education process. These elements arise from needs of our school. Additionally, entering the second decade of our school's existence, we wanted to get a fresh look on the process of education, in order to pursue realization of students' of XXI century needs, focusing of development of key competences in modern education.
