The aim of the project was to create a dynamic, committed team of teachers ready to undertake activities focused on interdisciplinary teaching using the project method. Strengthening the European dimension of the school by implementing new international projects, youth exchanges, as well as sharing good practices in everyday work at school and with foreign partners. Increasing the language competences of teachers of English and other subjects in order to implement educational projects abroad with the involvement of more people from the group. Developing competences in the use of digital technologies for their effective implementation in teaching subjects and project implementation. Acquiring and developing new materials for school activities. Develop competences in the field of creativity. Providing a better understanding of the diversity resulting from social, linguistic, cultural and religious differences. Increasing one's own attractiveness in the labor market. Stimulating professional motivation and satisfaction. Development in the area of caring for the teacher's well-being, development of awareness of body language, awareness of one's emotions, learning mindfulness techniques and concentrating on development not a result.
The main motivation for the implementation of the Synergy for Europeanness project was the need for professional improvement and development of teachers, which would go beyond the scheme of random training as part of teaching councils or online training addressed to a wide, not individualized group of recipients. The European School Development Plan assumes good functioning of the institution in effective cooperation with schools from countries in Europe. Such a vision of the school can be implemented only on the basis of well-prepared staff, whose intellectual and personality potential must be properly nurtured and improved. In order to meet the requirements of modern education, to prepare students well for independent, creative and responsible functioning in the world, the teacher must experience learning in the European context anew. Such experience significantly affects the creation of a new school quality and strengthens positive relations within it. The development of language and cultural competences, building a network of international contacts, deepening the understanding of various educational contexts in Europe make teachers credible and inspiring. This cooperation creates a new quality - synergy for Europeanness.
