First of all, we wanted to improve the quality of teaching in our institution, and also to increase the competitiveness of the school in the region. We wanted to increase the awareness of the use of language skills and ICT techniques by teachers and students not only in lessons, but most of all in life. We focused on increasing the effects of education by using modern methods and forms of work, improving the quality of teachers' work and individualizing work with dysfunctional students, allowing for equalization of their language level. We wanted to increase the competence of teachers in the field of educating students through the exchange of experiences and good practices in the eTwinning program. The project was also supposed to show new ways of diagnosing and supporting a student and expanding competences in didactic and educational work. We wanted English teachers to expand their competences in using ICT tools and establish international contacts.
We wanted to learn new teaching methods used in working with students from an early age in order to improve the quality of teachers' work, as well as to motivate students to achieve better teaching results. There was a need for teachers to improve their competences and use elements of bilingual teaching in our school to create bilingual science classes in the future. In addition, we wanted teachers to increase their self-confidence by acquiring new competences and the ability to cope in English-speaking countries, and to transfer these skills to students.
