The project team identified areas that needed improvement and set goals: - improving the quality of school work and teachers' professional qualifications in the field of foreign languages and the use of modern technologies, as well as in the introduction of pedagogical innovations thanks to which the teaching process will be in line with the changing educational and upbringing requirements of a modern school, - examining the functioning of educational institutions in other countries and sharing knowledge with foreign partners in order to develop and introduce into school practice methods aimed at the comprehensive development of students and proper preparation of students for their further educational and professional path, - development of European cooperation by strengthening international activities (projects, exchanges, institutional and private contacts) and promotion of European values in the local and international environment.
After the project team carried out an analysis of the needs of the ZSO No. 1 community in Łódź, it was decided that one of the most important tasks of teachers is to develop skills for the 21st century. As teachers, we realized that our knowledge and skills needed to be strengthened in supporting the comprehensive development of students. Both teachers, but also students and parents pointed out in questionnaire surveys that the forms and content of school work should be focused on developing key competences and practical skills, which is also one of the priorities set by the Erasmus+ program, e.g. in the field of digital transformation.
