Background

We applied for the project because as an organisation operating in a European network we can support international activities, develop our own statutory activities, facilitate and strengthen the cooperation of schools with the economic environment, create conditions for networking between schools and the internationalisation of the teaching process. The Europea Polska Association addresses its activities to schools, educational institutions and employers. As a member of the European Schools Network, we have adopted in our statutory activity the development and support of international cooperation in the field of education for the green economy sector, which responded to the diagnosed needs of member schools. The most important needs addressed by this project were to improve the professional and cultural competences of agricultural school students by involving school communities in mobility projects abroad. Groups with difficult access to mobility for social, geographical, health and other reasons were identified in schools. The project included pupils from the above groups with lower educational opportunities, lower grades and hence weaker self-esteem. This group included pupils from poorer families at risk of social exclusion.
