We applied for the project mostly to: strengthen the cooperation with partner institutions and create new partnerships, increase the quality of services and teaching offered to our students, introduce our students to the European labour market, raise the European dimension of the school and expand students' horizons and raise their aspirations. Also, we believed that implementing the project would enable our students and then graduates to enter the labour market gently and avoid unemployment. Furthermore, we believed that our school would be perceived as an active, innovative and dynamically developing educational institution. The project would consolidate and develop the image of ZSTG as a school comitted to improving the quality of education in the opinion of local and international community.
The most important premise of the project was to provide our students with opportunities enabling to enhance their vocational and language skills, as well as raising their self-esteem. Going abroad for an internship is a perfect opportunity for gaining valuable experience and broadening horizons. And this is exactly what we wanted to accomplish - provide our students with opportunities enabling gaining work experience in an international environment exhibiting higher degrees of awareness and acceptance for cultural diversity. Also, we truly believed that taking part in Erasmus + programme would increase students' chances of employability. But not only students can derive benefits from applying for Erasmus+ project. As a school, we wanted to increase the quality of services and teaching offered to our students, become more international, create new partnerships and raise our school’s profile. What is more, participation in the previous project showed us how important it is for our students in Erasmus+ programme. The recruitment survey carried out in March 2021 showed that more than 60% students chose our school due to the possibility of taking part in european mobilities.
