Background

Before we started the procedure for applying for the grant, we had held wide consultations with the teachers of hospitality courses in Zespół Szkół Ekonomicznych and employers in the hospitality sector in order to identify key needs in the area of European mobility and cooperation. Next, we defined the goals of the project which were described in detail in the application form. We also described the key areas of the school’s activity that needed improvement such as strengthening the students, teachers, employers and the project partners. Through the implementation of the project we wanted to revive international contacts and cooperation that were suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Our objective was to create very good conditions to gain knowledge and international work experience, which is extremely important for students of hospitality courses. Work placements in hotels distinguished by a high standard of services, opportunity to work in multicultural teams and participate in everyday life in foreign countries provided the participants of the project with excellent conditions to achieve the goals set in the project.
