Objectives

The aim of the project was to improve the vocational qualifications and social skills of young people studying in vocational schools, which could help to improve their position on the national and European labour market.

Background

The project “Mobility and Experience – Internships Abroad for People with Special Needs (Mobilność i doświadczenie - praktyki zagraniczne dla osób ze specjalnymi potrzebami) ” was carried out by a consortium consisting of Special Education Centre No. 1 in Kraków, Special Schools Complex No. 14 in Kraków, Special Education Centre in Bochnia and Internationaler Bund Polska in Kraków. Foreign partners were German IB Berlin-Brandenburg gGmbH in Frankfurt am Oder, VITALIS Betreuungsgesellschaft für Modellprojekte mbH in Schkeuditz and the Greek partners G&D Travels in Leptokarya and Hotel Honorata in Paralia Katerini. The main premise that guided us in undertaking this project was the need to include people with fewer opportunities in the group of beneficiaries of international projects of a professional nature, which may contribute to reducing the negative effects of socio-intellectual inequalities to which pupils of special schools are subject.
