The priority of the project was to match the school's offer to the needs of the mobile labor market in Europe and to give young people the freedom to decide on their career path - without geographical or cultural barriers. This was possible thanks to expanding the scope of teaching with foreign knowledge and experience gained during international work placements and by expanding soft skills and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment. The second expected effect was to promote openness and tolerance towards cultural, ethnic or religious differences among students, and to develop in them a critical attitude towards harmful stereotypes, so that young people would learn to independently verify the obtained opinions and shape their own on the basis of rationally collected and analyzed facts. We expected that the group of teachers with the experience of participating in the mobility project would increase and the attractiveness of the school as an employer would increase.
The implementation of the project was one of the elements of fulfilling the European Development Plan for the school - it corresponds to its objectives and needs contained therein, and also allowed to strengthen the areas of improvement mentioned therein. We wanted to: enable young people to do internships abroad - so that they get to know the realities of working in the EU, test themselves outside home, improve their English and get to know a different culture. We also had expectations for the staff - that they would improve their competences in managing and implementing mobility projects in the E+. In addition, after previous mobilities, we found out that students clearly expected the organization of foreign work placements. Even candidates for our school during the open days have been asking for several years whether we carry out internships as part of E+. Similarly, teachers who perceive participation in mobilities as an opportunity to learn about interesting jobs in their profession, foreign culture, as well as a certain professional gratification. This is important to us, especially due to the very difficult situation on the labor market - there is a shortage of teachers in our region. Therefore, we try to increase the attractiveness of the workplace in various ways.
