The project was based on the priorities of the ERASMUS+ program and the Europe 2020 strategy. Its implementation was aimed at: • development of participants' professional competences - using in practice the knowledge acquired during classes at school, gaining self-confidence in performing professional activities • development of German language skills - overcoming the language barrier, expanding everyday and industry vocabulary • development of key competences - including: using the native language, mathematical skills • increasing the attractiveness of project participants on the labor market and thus their employability after graduation, preventing unemployment among graduates • increasing the independence and entrepreneurship of participants, preparing them for independent functioning outside the home • equalization of educational opportunities for participants with fewer opportunities - people from rural areas, with a low financial status • increasing the prestige of the school on the market of educational services, further international development and improving the quality of education • tightening cooperation with the VITALIS partner, meeting new partners from the hotel and catering, hairdressing and logistics industries.
For 15 years our school is a beneficiary of EU programs operating in the field of education and vocational training. We applied for this project because the school's participation in previous projects has significantly contributed to the comprehensive development of its participants and to raising the level of knowledge in the field of vocational education. The implemented projects brought new and valuable experience to the school and contributed to improving the quality of its work and education. We submitted the application because we are sure that the implementation of mobility projects is necessary for the further development of the school. Internships abroad are the best and most attractive form of teaching young people on several levels at the same time. Through the implementation of the project, the school also wanted to continue its development in the local and international arena and increase its prestige and popularity in the region. We wanted to make it easier for young people to transition from education to the labor market, and by equipping students with certificates recognized in the EU, we wanted to further increase their attractiveness on the labor market. The project was related to the priorities in our school.
