Through the implementation of the project, we mostly wanted to achieve the needs of the school that are designated in the key school document - the European School Development Plan, primarily the development of the school in the European dimension, the improvement in the linguistic and professional competencies of students and teachers. We wanted to ensure better recognition of students' competencies in Europe, to increase the synergy of activities in order to educate an employee with greater opportunities for employment, to increase the employability of graduates. Our aim was providing opportunities for social integration and developing a sense of European identity, ensuring equal treatment and social inclusion of students from disadvantaged backgrounds and with special educational needs, modifying curricula and introducing European educational methods, improving project management skills, broadening horizons, world views, attitudes of tolerance and openness towards other nations, gaining knowledge of the history, culture and politics of other countries, and implementing online media and communication tools.
The School Complex No. 1 in Tarnobrzeg applied for the implementation of this project because, after summing up the implementation of previous projects, we know that they bring tangible benefits to our students, teachers, the local community and the global labour market. All taken actions have a positive impact on increasing the attractiveness of vocational education, but above all they have an impact on students - graduates, who by participating in projects improve their competencies, gain professional experience, gain international experience - they feel the European. The graduates are prepared to take up work in the European market, they easily overcome the lack of self-confidence and barriers in their own professional development. The school's main goal is to constantly improve the quality of its work in order to educate and raise students well, to equip them with knowledge and skills that make it easier to find and keep a job in the global labor market, to view education in a European dimension and to ensure close international cooperation. The implementation of projects is a very important activity that results in the school development and at the same time it increases the international dimension of the school.
