Through the implementation of the project, we primarily wanted to: 1.increase the level of professional competences among students in the field of "IT technician" 2. raise the level of English language competences among students studying in the field of "IT technician" 3. achieve the goal of passing the exam confirming qualifications in the profession of "IT technician" 4. raise the level of social and cultural competences among the participants of the foreign placement in terms of respect for co-workers and the culture of Great Britain. 5. raise the level of awareness of all students of the Technical School Complex about the need to improve their professional, linguistic, social and cultural competences
Due to many years of experience in the implementation of internship projects, we wanted to continue the possibility of raising professional competences at foreign internships for subsequent generations of students of the Technical School Complex in Wodzisław Śląski. Observing the multifaceted benefits resulting from the possibility of a foreign professional trip by students and the expansion of competences in the field of: website design, computer graphics, but also knowledge of English, especially in terms of vocational vocabulary, a decision was made to apply and apply for the possibility of departure of two groups of students. Through the implementation of the project, we also wanted to motivate students to obtain higher grades - there were always definitely more applicants than the offered internships. Thus, we not only assumed that the results of vocational exams would be higher by going abroad, but by preparing for the recruitment process, students would set themselves a higher bar. And so it happened.
