ZSŁ(Complex of Communicational Schools) in Gliwice, it is a modern school with 75-years of tradition Number of 597 students are educated in professions: IT technician, software programmer logistician, shipper, electrician and electronic. Our long-term activities related to the modernization of the teaching base, improvement of staff, implementation of new methods and forms of work, equalization of educational opportunities for young people, in order to be a modern school in Europe. After conducting research on EWD indicators presenting the results of qualifying and secondary school leaving examinations, and analyzing conclusions from the evaluation of completed projects, we developed a diagnosis of the school's needs, which was presented in EPRSZ. This results in a great need to implement the part of the curriculum concerning professional internships in foreign enterprises. In a Project „European apprenticeship in ZSŁ ( Complex of Communicational Schools) as a good professional start”. We assumed increasing the professional competences of students, the effects of practical education, and adapting the process to the requirements of the European labor market through the implementation of foreign professional internships. The aim was also to learn about the functioning of labor markets and to improve linguistic, interpersonal and digital competences. We are convinced that students' participation in the project broadens their horizons and better prepares them for professional work.
