Objectives

The aim of the project was to develop the professional skills of 16 IT students. The pandemic has created a holistic approach and diversified importance of these professional competences of IT specialist who has theoretical knowledge, practice, use design thinking tools, is open to novelties and changes that he can implement to meet the needs of the IT industry labor market. The student must have soft skills and managerial skills to find a job in the IT profession as easy as possible. Mobility was aimed at increasing digital competences and contributing to the growth and development of the holistic skills of the supported students. The project was aimed at improving language skills and helping students overcome their own inhibitions in terms of expression, public speaking, and direct situational dialogues. Thanks to the mobility implemented in Spain, the educational and professional opportunities of socially excluded students were to be leveled, along with an improvement in the psychophysical condition. For these students, mobility was a springboard from the social and family environment, a chance to learn about other realities of life and a motivation to achieve better standards.

Background

The aim of the project was to help students acquire new professional competences, knowledge and skills - to be a "window to the world" for them, and teachers of the profession will also have the opportunity to look at the system of organization and implementation of internships in one of the European countries. Moreover, the knowledge gained from Spanish employers made it possible to update and adapt the curricula. Establishing cooperation with employers, their involvement in the opinion-forming process of curricula, the involvement of their employees - all this inspired the creation of innovative programs, lesson scenarios, as well as clarifying the framework and impact of non-formal education. The synergy of the above allows to increase the quality and organization of education. Practical knowledge gainedduring classes in Spanish companies, it will allow for a better organization of practical classes and the incorporation of methods and techniques that will be developed there. A group of 16 students wanted to expand the key competences and professional qualifications defined in the E08 and E09 core curriculum for computer science. The financial aspect was also a decisive factor.
