The main purpose is increasing chances of employment of students of Technical school no. 3 in Puławy thanks to organizing foreign trainings and increase of job competences of vocational teachers owing to observing work in a given workplace. Realization of the project has directly influenced our school as well as students and teachers, who are part of the school community. Due to the participation of the teachers in the project, there are a lot of benefits. First of all, the teachers have improved the level of foreign languages skills. In consequence, they will be able to cooperate with people from other countries. It also broadens and improves the teachers’ international cooperation and it will help them use English training sources. What is more, thanks to improving language skills and cultural awareness, the teachers have increased their knowledge about other European countries and their citizens. It enables them to promote an attitude of openness and tolerance during educational and pedagogical work as well as promoting the idea of mobility and various possibilities and benefits of using programme Erasmus+ among students and school staff. Participants of the trainings and job shadowing have gained practical skills that are required on the job market and those which are needed and required by employers.
The project is the answer for needs of our school. It will help our school increase the quality of our school work by improving job competences of teachers and students. What is more, our school can be more similar to other European schools, considering European standards. In the diagnosis the quality and quantity methods and the analysis of school documents were used. Additionally, a survey among students, teachers and other school staff, also parents was conducted. There were also discussions with the local authorities and school partners. After the diagnosis the following fields need to be corrected: 1. new tools and teaching methods 2. increasing key competences of students and teachers 3. increasing job mobility of students and teachers 4. increasing the quality of school work comparing to European standards 5. improving language skills. Increase of a job profile of teachers will influence improving and developing students' key competences, better results of teaching and in consequence better interest of the school by future graduates. It may also increase the prestige of the school in the local and international environment.
