Background

The consortium had the following challenges defined: - too low level of practical education in vocational training institutions in workplaces (especially in technical schools), where students could experience real working conditions, develop employee competences and learn about modern technological solutions - too little involvement of employers in the organization of training, in particular placements - often low quality of apprenticeships, failure to implement apprenticeship programs, especially in crafts; students must receive additional training in courses prior to vocational examinations - lack of internationalization elements in vocational education and preparation of students for the European labor market, poor knowledge of foreign languages in vocational classes - low participation of teachers of vocational subjects in training and updating knowledge about the market and the industry, low participation and in international exchange, low knowledge of foreign languages
