The aim of participating in the project was to increase competence in up-to-date and effective working methods. We are successfully implementing the mentality method - we wanted to increase the number of employees who are familiar with it. The NOTA conference is one of the key events against the sexual and commercial exploitation of children - one of the statutory objectives of FDDS. The ISPCAN conference is an event that attracts experts and professionals involved in the protection of children and young people from all over the world. Attending this congress is an opportunity to learn about the latest research and practice in the field and a great opportunity to network and share experiences. Attending this congress is also an excellent opportunity for FDDS staff to develop professionally and gain new skills and knowledge that will enable it to work even more effectively in the field of child and youth protection. Participation in international events allows us to learn about other countries' experiences, exchange ideas and good practices. They are attended by staff from different departments of the FDDS, which ensures the levelling of knowledge, the integration of FDDS staff from different cities and the broadening of horizons.
The main aim of FDDS is to ensure that every child has a safe childhood. We protect children from abuse and help those who have experienced abuse. We applied for the project funding because we wanted to ensure the highest possible quality of service provision. This is also possible thanks to the high competence of the staff and continuous updating of knowledge in key areas of the Foundation's activities, such as abuse prevention, helping abused children and implementing modern methods of working with clients. Mobilities have been planned taking into account the identified needs in the development of individual teams and staff. In the proposal, we have included specialised mobility abroad with renowned Organisers. In terms of content, these are of very high quality, but at the same time costly. Without external funding from the Foundation, it would have been difficult to direct employees to such courses.
