Objectives

The main aim of the project was to increase the trainers' competence of adult education staff at the Fundacja Instytut Innowacji. This aim was achieved through the participation of 2 trainers from our organization in the International Intensive Training (IIT) in Ireland, which took place from 24.02 - 05.03.2022. The training was organized by the CNVC organization (The Center for Nonviolent Communication), which upholds the quality and spirit of training for trainers working with the method of Nonviolent Communication by Marshall B. Rosenberg. The organisation was created by dr. Rosenberg.

Background

Our foundation works with adults, and based on conversations with our beneficiaries and our project experience, we have identified that most of the people we have worked with or are working with have the development of communication skills among their educational expectations. In addition, communication skills, creativity, critical thinking and teamwork skills are now among the most valued skills by employers when hiring an employee. Also in the course of our projects, we have diagnosed that better communication between people affects the quality of their relationships (both in the professional and private areas), and easier conflict resolution, and also affects reconciliation between people in conflicted areas. In view of these identified needs, our organization has set the goal of developing communication skills among our beneficiaries. To this end, our team of trainers began to retrain knowledge and participate in various communication training courses. Thanks to participation in International Intensive Training (IIT), trainers from our organization are more familiar with the Nonviolent Communication method and can share their knowledge with our beneficiaries.
