As part of the implementation of this project, the Association planned 1. increasing the knowledge of team building and team management; 2. indirectly - improving language skills in the field of English; 3. broadening the knowledge on intergenerational cooperation in cultural and educational projects; 4. enriching the experience in the use of local tradition and history in educational programs; 5. gaining knowledge about models of local cooperation related to conducting educational activities.
Our own method of educational activities, using social journalism as a tool, requires new educational techniques to be more effective and attractive, especially those that will help activate the participants of the classes and foster their concentration and emotional involvement. This mainly applies to group leadership and team building skills. We needed structured knowledge of team building and management techniques and tools, including the most creative and innovative methods. It was especially important for us in the context of further international cooperation and sharing our experiences with partners in Europe in the future. We also needed knowledge and experience regarding intergenerational cooperation in cultural and educational projects. We wanted to learn about the experiences of European organizations and public institutions. Especially in the case of the offer for recipients in the culturally and religiously diversified smaller towns of Podlasie, we must take into account local traditions, history and art. Cooperation with local administration and public institutions is very important. We need to get to know its models from the NGO and administration point of view.
