Objectives

• to increase the range of our educational activities, • to expand knowledge about our educational products, • to benefit from the opportunity to work in groups with people who do not speak Polish, in partner organizations, • to expand the knowledge and skills of the educational staff of our organization and partner organizations, • to make our materials available for further use in partner organizations, • to prove that learning a foreign language can be used as a tool for shaping intercultural education, • to benefit from our colleagues’ experience from other countries regarding working in multinational groups by creating a temporary "research team" • to validate our educational products in international groups, associating students from different countries - representatives of partner organizations.

Background

Mobility cycle "Cultural heritage in foreign language teaching. Knowledge transfer” was the continuation of work on an innovative product resulting from the implementation of the Project in Action 2 - Strategic Partnerships 'LV&PV Langues vivantes & Patrimoines vivants' (2017-2019), in which our association was a partner organization. This innovative product is the educational modul (video + audio + text) based on information about the local cultural heritage, related to the national origins of adults who learn foreign languages. On one hand, we wanted to benefit from the knowledge and experience of our colleagues from EU countries that have the same problems in working with multinational and multilingual groups, and to share with them our own experience in creating this type of material. On the other hand, we wanted to encourage our colleagues to create their own educational materials based on the use of local examples of preserving the national heritage of various nations living in their regions. The second element of our trainings was sharing a series of foreign language classes scenarios in multicultural groups of adult learners using the element of multiculturalism, created in the group of Trainers of our Association.
