The most important key areas of the organization requiring development and support were: 1. Insufficient English language competences of trainers and management staff employed in the organization We wanted practical knowledge of the English language. Participation in a week-long course within the possibilities offered by the Erasmus + program allowed us to practice this language in practice and at the same time increase the competence of communicating in English. Moreover, the stay in the countries where the language of communication is English strengthened both the competences of our staff and the motivation for further development of language competences. 2. Insufficient knowledge of innovative and unconventional online teaching methods We wanted to create an offer of on-line courses aimed at adults. We lacked the skills to create innovative and unconventional methods of online adult learning. We also wanted to address our offer to people with limited access to education, e.g. living in rural areas where there is no access to training. After the mobility to Cyprus, we enriched our training offer with 12 free online trainings.
In December 2019, strategic workshop was conducted at Progress Kalińska, Talik Spółka jawna. The aim of the workshop was to build the company's development strategy for 2020-2023. The following strategic goals of the company were set: 1.increasing the competences needed to support adult learning, 2.implementing innovative, non-standard tools and teaching methods in adult education, 3. extending the training offer with on-line training in order to increase their availability for people living in areas with limited access to the educational offer, 4.increase in language skills (English), 5. establishing international contacts, partnerships in order to implement international activities and projects. Based on these goals, the educational needs of our staff were determined. Achieving these goals was possible thanks to the implementation of 24 mobilities of our trainers under the project.
