Objectives

The implementation of the project is an initiative of participants in our previous activities under the project "Cultures around the Europe". While summarizing activities and planning future initiatives, they stated that one of the priorities should be to carry out another project allowing more people to acquire knowledge and competences related to intercultural education. Complementing this application with experience gained from the implementation of previous activities, we have recognized that the most important goals we want to set ourselves as part of the project activities are: - intercultural integration of young people through learning about the culture, art, tradition and history of other European countries, - overcoming stereotypes rooted in culture and discovering similarities among the European Union countries, - indication of common development paths and ways of integrating the participating countries, - creating a platform for young people on which they can develop their skills and gain new life and professional experiences by organizing, coordinating and summarizing an independently carried out project under the Erasmus + program, - personal development of project participants, through involvement at every stage of project implementation, - building a new network of partnerships between the organizations participating in the project, based on the active action of the youth involved in the project, - promotion of the Erasmus + program among young people and providing a wide range of information about the possibilities offered by active participation in the program, - creating an educational board game that will contain interesting facts about each of the countries participating in the exchange, - video recording of the cultural exhibition for the local community carried out during the exchange and video coverage of activities during the youth exchange, - preparing short films about the impact of contact between different cultures and international cooperation on the development of Europe and creating new initiatives responding to the challenges facing the world. We will try to make the participation in the project an opportunity for participants to develop as broadly as possible intellectual horizons, social and personal competences. We want young people to feel co-responsible not only for the results of the project, but also for the impressions and experiences that everyone will gain from participating in the exchange through active forms of work that build engagement. Thanks to this - through a wide range of applied tools characteristic of non-formal education, we hope that the participants will improve their competences primarily in the following areas: - communication in a foreign language - English will be our main language during the exchange. All participants use it at least at a communicative level. Each participant will have the opportunity to improve their language skills both during classes and private conversations with peers. Youth Exchange it will also be a chance for participants to overcome communication barriers and motivate them to continue learning foreign languages. - IT competences - participants during the project will become familiar with the basic programs for preparing and presenting presentations, editing films, graphic programs (preparation of posters, leaflets and various materials necessary for the implementation of the project) and spreadsheets (preparing budget estimates and specific activities) . - learning to learn - each participant during the project will have the chance to discover their own way of learning best. By participating in individual classes and evaluations conducted in various forms, young people will have the opportunity to check which learning methods are best for them. Additionally, activities and activities related to the Youthpass certificate carried out during the exchange will allow participants to reflect on learning methods and acquiring new knowledge. - social and civic competences - during the project, participants will have the opportunity to cooperate in small internationally mixed groups, a large international group and a small national group. We also hope that together with the further development of our organization, relationships posted on our profiles in social media and on the website will reach more people and organizations who are interested in the subject of our exchange and participation in international projects. At international level, our project will be an opportunity to strengthen cooperation with our partners from Romania and Greece and establish good contact with Inovaciju Biuras. We see this as an opportunity that will allow us to implement further projects over time and reach more and more people interested in expanding their competences and gaining new experience in the field of project activities.
