"Tradition is all around us" is our idea and initiative – young people from Poland, Bulgaria, and Portugal. Young people, like us, increasingly moving away from tradition and losing their cultural identity to the currently prevailing trends and do not want to use the treasury of knowledge about the culture, which is the older generation. Therefore, the topic of the project is related to cultural identity and cultural heritage through the prism of holidays and customs, celebrated in the winter. The project also promotes intercultural and intergenerational dialogue. Holidays show the beauty of our cultures, are full of important symbols, traces of multiculturalism, and are also a source of many positive values like tolerance, openness, empathy or help to other people. We believe that a return to the roots and deepening knowledge about the holidays celebrated in the winter will allow us to understand their meaning and purpose, show the beauty of our cultures, allow us to feel fully identical with our cultures, as well as properly cultivate and disseminate traditions, customs, and rites in the future. The aim of the project is to broaden knowledge about our cultures through the prism of winter holidays and multiculturalism; to raise the level of cultural awareness and identity; increase awareness of cultural heritage; broaden attitudes such as tolerance, openness, selfless help, empathy; strengthen intergenerational dialogue as a source of learning about traditions and customs;
