By implementing our project, we wanted to counter the growing social isolation in our communities. Our goal was to break the distance and learn to work effectively with people from marginalized environments. We tried to increase our acceptance of people different from us. Since we have had little experience in working with such people so far, we close ourselves to them by deepening the growing dividing wall. Believing that cooperation with such people would open us to their needs and allow us to see them as a person who needs support, we wanted to recognize and break our thinking with patterns and using stereotypes. Thanks to the experience we had gathered, the methods we learned and taking actions for the benefit of various excluded people, we wanted to change our attitude towards people rejected by the environment. In our project, we wanted to look at and develop our sensitivity to other people and the ability to cooperate with them, especially in difficult situations that require help. We looked at the problems faced by people in difficult life situations, such as disability, marginalization, social exclusion, etc. We learned about various ways of supporting such people and undertake independent cooperation with them. Thanks to this, we will be able to better understand their situation, so that we can be more open to them. In this way, we want to change our perception of them. Changing the attitude towards such people will allow us to effectively undertake our future social and professional activities in such environments.
