One of the main problems of young people living in the early 21st century is the problem of social rejection - especially those living in small towns and villages. These young people, mostly poor and insufficiently brought up by their busy parents, do not have good prospects. On the one hand, young people know that without education they will have no chance for a well-paid job in the future, but on the other hand they also realize that their families are too poor - usually also with many children, which entails the need to maintain siblings - so that they can afford higher education. It is not uncommon for them to finish their education at a vocational school without passing the final exams. The goal of our project is to acquire the competences necessary for active participation in social and professional life, to raise the level of key competences and skills of young people, including people with fewer opportunities, as well as to promote participation in democratic life in Europe and the labor market, exchange of experience in the field of searching for a job, knowledge about professions (the strangest professions in the world, past professions and modern, dying professions, deficit, surplus, most interesting, other), developing competences required of an employee, building relationships and mutual relations based on a clash with a different culture, mentality, way of being. It will be an exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of navigating the labor market, as well as the social and professional integration of young people affected by the problem of social exclusion, building good international relations, overcoming barriers and prejudices through mutual knowledge and making friends. The meeting will create the opportunity to exchange experiences, look at the functioning of organizations working for the professional development of young people and understand the methods of their activities. It will inspire you to new ideas or initiatives that can be transferred from the Subcarpatian region to the cities represented by exchange participants. Project activities will initiate a longer cooperation between our organizations, encourage further activities, continue exchanges through new, interesting and useful projects, mobilize and encourage partner organizations to participate in further joint ventures. The exchange will increase knowledge about career counseling, career choices and employment of young people, increase the initiative and creativity of participants and will have a direct impact on the planning of future activities by organizing international projects between Western European countries and the countries of the East and the Caucasus.
