Objectives

Through the implementation of the project "Activity - this is it!" young people from Poland and Turkey wanted to show their peers that there are alternative forms of spending free time to those they know and that direct (face to face) contact with another person during joint activity, play, work brings many benefits (health, communication). , counteracting depression, stress) and develops. Actively spending time together between people from different countries and different cultures allows us to deepen this experience, which becomes even more developing and learning. The planned project activities were a response to the common problem of young people spending their free time in front of the screens of mobile phones, laptops, TVs and in a world where direct contact with other people is disappearing. Young people involved in project activities wanted to show their peers that there are active ways of spending free time. The idea for the project itself was born as a response to the diagnosed problem of lack of direct contacts between peers, which leads to passivity and social isolation, as well as reluctance to stay in a group of people. The project activities planned for implementation were intended to enable young people to share knowledge about the ways of spending free time in each country and to learn about each other's culture, customs and traditions. The project included physical activities that would help participants learn self-discipline and work in a multicultural team. The involvement of young people at every stage of the project was to teach them how to make decisions and take responsibility for the decisions they make. One of the ideas to achieve the planned goal was to promote Nordic Walking among young people, a discipline that can be practiced at any age, regardless of health and physical condition. This discipline is not popular among young people, we more often meet elderly people marching with Nordic Walking poles. Practicing this discipline has a positive impact on our health. Thanks to hiking, you can get to know interesting and interesting places, and photographing beautiful views and interesting places was an added value of the project activities. International exchange and work in an international team were intended to increase knowledge about the partner's country, its culture and nature. The planned activities were to allow for: - awakening active attitudes, - learning Nordic Walking techniques, - promoting a healthy lifestyle, - learning to cooperate and developing your talents, - learning to work independently and actively. The added value of the activities will be the friendships and new acquaintances that the participants will make. Both young people from Poland and Turkey are people with fewer opportunities and require institutional support and help from partner organizations. The participation of people with fewer opportunities is part of the priorities of the Erasmus+ program. The aim of the project is to shape civic awareness and openness to multiculturalism, overcoming ideological, moral, cultural and physical barriers. The aim of the project is also consistent with the objectives of the Erasmus+ program in youth exchanges, primarily by increasing the level of key competences (increase in skills in communicating in a foreign language, increase in knowledge about active forms of spending free time, increase in learning skills - learning through experience, increase in social and entrepreneurial competences).
