Almost all youth workers from partner organizations with whom we spoke about the project confirmed that in their work they often encounter a recurring problem among young people who multiply read or heard populist content and thus become a "carrier" of false information, which it often leads to its radicalization and its peer environment. In such situations, many leaders and youth workers are powerless to be able to properly support and inspire young people in dealing with populist content, hate and hate speech, as they lack knowledge and competence about propaganda tools that populists use and skills counteracting populism, hate speech and false information. The main purpose of the training is to equip people working with youth with tools and skills supporting their work with youth in the field of recognizing and reading populist content and preventing hate speech. The specific objectives are: intensifying cooperation between partners in the field of youth work, exchange of good practices, experiences and methods of working with young people in the area of recognizing and opposing hate speech, hate and false information, learning new support methods for young people in opposing populism, hate speech and hate, addressing the causes of populism, learning ways to "sift" face news from facts learning how populist movements and organizations work making participants aware of threats of hate speech and hate on the internet systematizing knowledge about populist movements and organizations in Europe enabling people working with young people to obtain information on working conditions for young people in partner countries, exchange of good practices in the field of youth involvement in the European Solidarity Corps
